On Newport Pier, a fisherman asked the kids of they wanted a starfish. So they got to touch a real live starfish before they returned him to his home.
When they turned it over they could see all the "tentacles" waving and reaching.
First Xander had to try to bury himself, with a little help from Imogene.
Shows how quickly kids can make new friends and have a great time. I don't know what the little boy's name is, but he played with the kids until his mom told him he needed to go.
After about 15 trips by Adam, the kids started carrying their buckets back and forth to bring up water for the sand castle.

MiMi had a great time, her suit was unrecognizable by the time she was done, no longer pink and white, but sand on sand.
