I Heart Faces- Photo Walk

Do you know what a photowalk is? I didn't either until I signed up for this one. we had a group of about 45 people, all with cameras, walking around the 9th and 9th area of Salt Lake. We had a great time and learned a lot form each other and the photowalk leader.

Here are just a few of my favorite images from the walk. I would have liked to have more pictures, but i had to run to Xander's baptism, and left the walk early. I will be going on another photowalk while we are on vacation in Yellowstone. If you want to photowalk, there is a utah group that meets monthly and there is a worldwide photowalk taking place on July 24.

Imogene's Birthday

Imogene want a princess tea party for her birthday, so I found a teapot, sugar bowl and cream pitcher and served an assortment of pink finger foods. The other girls all dressed up, but at the last minute, Imogene decided that she didn't want to wear her princess dress, so she wore her sundress instead.

The Poly Pocket Cake- this was by accident- I just wanted to put a flower on the cake and it happens to look a lot like the polly pocket logo,
We made Butterflies, made bracelets and rings, watched a princess movie and used many, many stickers.

Piano Recital

Xander's piano recital was great and he was fantastic as always.
He loves his teacher and he really loves the candy he gets for passing off his songs.

I love when they bow after thier performance-
All the students did a great job, and even though it was a combined recital, it looks like fewer students than in his other recitals.

Xander's Birthday

We had a few boys over for Xander's birthday.

They watched the lego movie
and played some Wii.
To top it all off, I made a (huge) Lego Cake.
FYI- if you ever ant to make one, I recommend using ding dongs. I made cupcakes and then had to shape them.  ALso, you probably don't need an entire bottle of blue- but feel free to add as much as you want.

Preschool Graduation

Imogene is so excited for Kindergarten next year.

Imogene attended Miss Cody's Preschool. Miss Cody teaches out of her home and has two four year old classes and a three year old class. Imogene learned to write her name and all the letters of the alphabet and can count to 20.
